Mark Smith

Mark joined Scrutton Bland in 2007, having previously worked at a national firm. Starting out with a mixed portfolio consisting of audit, corporate finance and internal audit clients, Mark now works predominately on Corporate Finance projects, whilst continuing to manage a handful of our larger audit clients. Mark’s breadth of experience means that he is well placed to work with clients on multifaceted Corporate Finance projects and has a particular strength in working through the complex detail of transactions and presenting those details to clients in a friendly jargon-free way. Mark is an advocate of running anything past what he calls “The Man on the Clapham Omnibus”. Outside of work Mark is a Colchester United supporter and is easing his son and daughter in to the high and lows of being a football fan.
