Nick Banks

Nick joined the firm in 1993 and trained until qualification.  Appointed a partner in April 2004 Nick is based in Ipswich and is the lead partner of the Agriculture team.  Nick has spent much of his time with the firm working with rural business and has gained a deep knowledge and understanding through this work of the challenges faced by business in the agricultural sector.   Nick enjoys advising family owned business of which many are farms and estates but his clients also operate within manufacturing, services, leisure and construction.  Nick is a champion of cloud software and process change to deliver timely and insightful financial reporting.  Nick is a director of Scrutton Bland Limited and supports the managing partner with a focus on finance and operations of the firm.  Nick serves as a trustee and Treasurer to St Elizabeth’s Hospice in Ipswich.  Outside of work Nick enjoys spending time with his family, walking his two dogs, is an Ipswich Town FC season ticket holder and driving his classic sports cars.
